The SOLOW EP features the new track “Dum Dee Dum,” which mixes the group’s trademark blend of hip-hop, trap, and electronica influences. Also featured on the SOLOW EP are tracks “I Just Can’t Deny”—an anthem built for stadium crowds and festival denizens alike—and the hip-hop heavy “Ratchet Hoe$,” which best illustrates KEYS N KRATES’ dominance of the current electro-trap movement, as well as “Treat Me Right.”

Slave's 2013 debut EP "Breaking Free" met with top-shelf support from heavy hitters in the Electronic Music scene, and here the remixes take that sound to the next logical level. With an all-fams High Chai roster this remix EP showcases some serious production and writing skills.

First up is fellow Ohio native Lord Swan3x with his multi-genre twist up of 'Rage Dawn.' We dare you to just play 2 mins of this ever-evolving rager. Following up is Slave's own VIP remix of 'Welcome to the Party,' a cross between Jump Up, Punk and Big Room Rave, a new hybrid sure to get bodies moving. Continuing on the Ohio-crew tip is Glockwize with their brooding Future Glitch-Step take on 'Breaking Free.' And breaking things up a bit is Indidginus' ragga bass re-work of 'Rage Dawn,' a sunny, super-vibey respite before the gnarly midtempo bass renderings of Kong Speaks' remix of 'Welcome to the Party.' 

Truly new musical territories abound in this High Chai Recordings release.

Step into a warped dimension of stealth and intricacy and embrace the mystique of Barry Koota's debut EP, “Perception Deception”. The title track kicks things off with with a smooth and subtle stomp that seems to put the listener into the shoes of a ninja in the Sahara desert, sneakily moving along and progressing with groove and precision, combining a solid bassline with Eastern melodies. “The Yurn to Gurn” is as cheeky as the title suggests, and it takes a lot of energy not to smile whilst consuming its musical goodness. The tightness of the drums along side a defiant melody line is merged with finely plucked sample cuts to deliver the works. Hook Shot brings the EP to an energetic climax. The impeccably roaring bass sounds are complimented by ground shattering drops and weaved together with the distorted retro vibe of the track. Perception Deception is an EP that truly evolves track to track, sneaking up until it encapsulates all of your senses like you couldn't perceive. It's a very good introduction to one of Australia's most promising glitch hop talents.
