So, this is my metal cover of this fantastic piece from The Planets by Holst. What I did NOT want this to be was simply me taking each of the parts for the orchestra and playing them on guitar, as that would require no creativity or arrangement. So I have tried to remain as faithful to the original piece as possible whilst also adding new elements that hopefully make it work better with a rock band-type set up, although having said that it naturally lends itself to metal. I am intending to do more of The Planets, possibly even all of them eventually, so keep an eye out and enjoy!
