this is a piece of music i wrote yesterday called 'Never Forgotten' for my old teacher Mr.Kenwright who sadly passed away with cancer last month. i dedicate this to him because he was the one who inspired me to pursue a career in music (without realising it) & for giving such joy & happiness to all the children of my old primary school Naburn. RIP Mr. Kenwright, you will be greatly missed all around the globe x

Never Forgotten

This is my  submission to the second part of 'The Piano Clouds' (TPC) - 'Ebony and Ivory' Challenge (initiated and hosted by https://soundcloud.com/simon-reich), which involves creating a piece using only the black keys on the piano (yikes! hehe). The first part of the Challenge involved creating a piece using only the white keys ('As the Garden Grows'). This 'black keys'  piece was originally a piano solo improvisation, but I wanted to learn more and add some more FX and instrumentation, so I'm not sure what it is! The piano is still dominant for the Challenge, whilst I tried to incorporate a more 'ambient' mood. I'm now looking forward to listening to all the submissions for the Challenge, as I've only had a chance to listen to a few! :-)
