AJ Selector's journey as a local artist is well-documented, with roots in childhood playing keys and drums, eventually leading him to study at the Conservatorium of Music. His passion for DJing and producing ignited in 2006, and it wasn’t long before he became a staple in Southeast Queensland’s club circuit.

Always seeking new horizons, AJ took his talents on the road, electrifying dance floors from Brisbane to Bendigo. The travel bug eventually led him on a 30-country tour, backpacking across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and performing at venues along the way.

Drawing inspiration from his global experiences, AJS' musical taste has evolved to encompass a wide array of genres, from chill vibes to all-night parties. His sets are dynamic and unpredictable, seamlessly blending Hip Hop, R&B, Drum & Bass, Funky Pop, and more.

Currently, AJS holds residencies at The Brisbane Casino, Soundgarden, The Glen, Kingpin and other top venues between Brisbane and Byron Bay. Whether he’s juggling turntables or just life itself, AJ Selector is a multi-talented artist who always brings the vibes.

Started as a small time DJ and remixer in my hometown of Philadelphia for my college fraternity. Now on a mission to share great music with the world. Curating and creating every day.

Liberating and Empowering listeners with Positive & Uplifting Rap Bars, filled with Puns & Sass Accompanied by the sounds of Alternative HipHop fused with Energetic Synthesisers.   Standing for Liberation, Love & Laughter! With a Mission to end the delusion of separation & highlight the universal connection that bonds us all to ourselves, the world & each other.    

After years of bold; circus, cabaret and adult performing, on the island of Ibiza & Englands capital, the British rapper kick started his career in the music business in 2019, where he released 3 original Demos and amazed audiences across events & venues on his London & Glasgow Tour, such as: London Pride Fashion Show, the Prowler Awards & Scotlands most renowned music venue 'King Tuts', entertaining crowds with his authentic music, lively & immersive stage show & the eccentric 'Chattaa' outfits! The Mad Chattaa also starred on the #1 gay podcast 'Thirsty Bitch' where his first Demo Premiered, and shortly after, featured on the Urban Word Collective paperback  'Lyrically Justified Vol.3'.

Now well into 2020, The Mad Chattaa is frequently performing live shows to his engaged fans on his social media platforms, been featured on other popular podcasts such as BestGayLife & Haus of BamBam, and is releasing his first official track "Lethal Injection" - where we go deep into the jungle of our minds, awakening the Shaman who challenges the ego! For this release The Mad Chattaa involved fans & mental health activists in the creation of the promotion, creating montages of the pictures that were sent in, expressing their unique flair, & created a "I'm perfection" challenge where by fans record themselves, telling themselves and the world that they are perfection, and that we all are perfection.
