Whether shooting movies, photography, making beats, or performing his feel-good hip hop as Joee the Poet, it’s next to impossible to not be swayed and sold with the talents of this young Jackson, TN native. His interest in hip hop began in elementary school. He soon joined a local group, Green Field Boys, his 8th grade year in 2008. A year later he pursued his solo career as Joee the Poet and launched his label 4ever Young Entertainment. After being nominated as artist of the year by IMA two years in a row, he finally began to get serious about rapping. His triumph resulted in a massive boost in his fan base and economic status allowing him become a part time psychology major and a full time musician. Like wine, this artist developed with elegance and a unique signature style allowing him to contour a delivery method that he could brand as his own. After years of practice he finally released his first project “When Poetry Prevails” in May of 2016.
