Jussi and Natasha arrived at the studio first and were just setting up when Jussi started playing the intro to "Lipstick and Ash " and Natasha began to fill out the strings.

By the time the rest of the band arrived the idea was pretty well formed and the song, cinematic post rock, is unusual as the drums and bass only feature for 8 bars, the rest being strings and guitar.

A guitar improvisation with massive space reverb and a legato effect using the Roland GR-55 guitar synthesizer with a Fender GC-1 Roland Ready Stratocaster. The Big Bang will be part of an album perforemed using only guitar synths about the creation of the universe:
