As requested, here's my set from the Queen Vic at the Tidyland Weekender at Pontins Southport on 7th July! You know what to expect from me by now... I decided to get out a few of my favourite bounce tunes from the last couple of years with a few harder bits thrown in towards the end. Had loads of great feedback from you all about this set and it was ace to see so many of you on the dancefloor despite it being so early in the day, as well as extremely sweaty in the Vic! Joe Longbottom Tidy 20 Arena 3 Friday Night Set

(my notebook  Jan 2018)...  " a  couple of months ago i wrote some lyrics at my piano inspired by a conversation I had with my son about the ABC show “The Deep”  about when he said to me “ do you prefer logic or myth mum" .
it went on to be a small exploration of some mythical stories and the mystical…
( i was re-reading Women who run with the Wolves at the time)

At the same time i was chatting with and working a tune with Danny Stubbs .. the tune went through a few evolutions, hit a hard a place, and then
as it happens with the creative process, evolved again and the song i had written about the boy who walks between two worlds, a metaphor for children from separated families who walk between two homes, between mother and father , logical and mystical, worked perfectly with the structure and melody that Danny had sent me.
I recorded the final vocals to Danny’s track and we are about to sign the tune to Perfecto …
Signing these tunes doesn’t bring much $ these days but its a good platform for the song to go out and grateful to Danny for working the tune and Perfecto for signing it.."

 Danny tragically passed away in August 2024.
Sending so much love to his family and friends-  A beautiful soul gone  way too soon... <3 <3 <3

Tidy's Massive Christmas Glitter Ball 2018 - Bass Jumper Mix

Joe 1st began learning how to mix in 2003 when he was just 16! He got his first set at a night called 'Hard not 2' at the Atrium in Leeds just aged 17.

Since then Joe has come on leaps and bounds, slowley pushing him self up the ladder. he is well established in the Leeds area and is make his name known further afield. 

Joe currently holds residencies at Rave On! Inception and Cheeky Tracks, and he loves his vinyl more than CDJs - so this Leeds favourite is bound to get the room rocking with a few classics thrown in for good measure.
