Its almost weekend, and we have yet another podcast incoming. 
This time we are joined from Austria by @djchrisnord for episode 021 of the Kellercast. 🔊🎶🎶🎶🇦🇹🇦🇹🇩🇰🇩🇰



Chris Nord, a dj and producer from Salzburg in Austria, discovered his passion for electronic music in the early 90s. Back then he started fooling around with toy keyboards as a child and later on he became fascinated with playing the drums. This was not the ideal instrument for keeping family harmony intact, but brought the groove and rhythm into his life.

This was the beginning of an evolving and still ongoing passion for electronic music. 

When you find him behind the decks in a club or at a festival, you can expect a groovy mix between minimalistic deep tech and minimal techno with a dark and gloomy touch, spiced up with signature groovy elements. In terms of production and his style hereof, Chris always kept various musical options open. His tracks vary from the deeper floating sounds to more minimalistic and bass heavy (Minimal) Techno tracks. 
But the one thing in common for all tracks, is the energy in them, focusing that on the dance floor. During time, Chris has released and remixed on labels such as; Mothr Music (ARG), Trippy Cat Berlin (soon) UDGK Black, Underground Kollektiv (UK), Gibbon Records (UK) to mention a few. 
His most recent work, a  new EP will hit the stores on june 7th on the label, Amped. 

At the moment Chris is playing regularly at clubs and venues in the area of Salzburg/Austria and he also hosts his monthly radio show; DARK PRESSURE on the UK-based Radio and Label called; UNDERGROUND KOLLEKTIV (@underground_kollektiv), where he’s a resident. Last but not least, he also co-founded the succesfull event-series called; TIEFDRUCK (@tiefdrucksalzburgszg2020) at the end of 2018, a project also know for their own popular podcast, that focusses on darker and minimal aspects of techno.

Rosalie and Vera have walked through the meadow of this crazy life since 2013, not only as part of a musical duo but one in their private lives as well. They clicked from the get go and started off as partners in crime on Berlins notorious dance floors. Always front row and with the beat in their hearts. They soon realized they wanted more! It was clear very early that their place was not destined to be in front of the Dj but behind the decks. Then and there they scraped together their last money and bought their first Dj equipment. Soon after they went on a wild ride through the cities main clubs, touring the country and seizing every festival opportunity. In 2017 Mehr is Mehr joined the Wuza Crew and have since turned a lot of parties into magical places together. Categorizing is usually not their thing but if you had to describe their sound it would go something like this: driving crisp beats paired with melodic elements - techno without monotony and a never ceasing mischievous smile.

Maksim Dark has established himself as a prolific powerhouse on the scene over the past decade
 - his instantly recognisable style being picked up and celebrated by some of the top names in
the game. The Russian producer burst into people’s consciousness in 2011, winning the ear of
techno royalty like Richie Hawtin and Dubfire. 

Insomnia contains 13 tracks of the talented Russian’s signature sound - tough, shadowy techno
that grooves hard and is shot through with attitude and style. From opener ‘Dominator’ through
to Dark’s personal favorite ‘Globalize’ and other highlights such as the LP’s lead single ‘Loud
Rave’ and brooding closing track ‘Noah’, this long-player could be one of Dark’s epic sets behind
the decks. There’s linearity to the journey and each track seems to complement the other. Drums
hit hard, pitched down vocals add the edge, and his beautifully-designed laser-sharp synths cut
through everything creating the ultimate soundtrack to the nights we want never to end.

Maksim created a full mix of his album, within a stunning location in a rural area of Russia. Combing his dark sounds with an incredible location. Clearly enjoying his album:
