Originally the b-side to their single "(A "Trip" To) Babylonia" (which still holds the record for worst selling single of all time), the master tapes for "Tympanzee" were long thought to be lost. However, three months ago, former Banilow roadie Dave "Zero" DiSenza discovered the unmarked reel in the underwear drawer of his mother's room while helping her to pack up some things. At first listen, DiSenza was very impressed, but he quickly realized the tape was being played backwards and at too slow a speed. He was less impressed when listening properly, but the band was elated at the discovery. They hope to unearth all of the masters from their debut album and re-release it one day.

"Tympanzee" by Larry Banilow

onlyone released the ambient album "Zen and the Art of Commuting by Public Transportation" in February, 2015, and he released three other solo albums and an album with his band The Elderly in 2014. 

Joe "onlyone" Kowalski is a composer/ producer/ multi-instrumentalist based in Boston. He has played in countless bands as keyboardist or bassist (including BrownBoot, Gato Malo, Larry Banilow, The World's Greatest Sinners, All the Queen's Men, Larry Banilow, The Bay City Rollers featuring Ian Mitchell and many more), and has written and recorded a number of solo albums ranging from ambient music to electronics-infused progressive rock. Joe has also been an equal member of other collaborative recording groups like Fünf and The Elderly, co-writing, playing numerous instruments and co-producing all albums. Topping it off, Joe is half of the absurdist soft rock outfit Larry Banilow, producing and engineering the greatest hits album "Huggin' Funshine: 16 Golden Greats," co-writing all of the songs and playing many of the instruments on the record. 

In 2010 Joe produced, engineered and co-composed (with guitarist/ vocalist Adam Sherman) the soundtrack to the feature-length independent film Phillip The Fossil (available in NetFlix). Joe's music has also provided the soundtrack for other short films. Joe has also composed the theme song for acclaimed creativity podcast Ideascicle.

Joe is also a music instructor, teaching piano/ keyboards, bass guitar, theory, technology and more.
