Any artist is welcome to send us a track via freshonthenet.co.uk anytime between Monday lunchtime and Thursday morning (or when we receive 200 submissions, whichever is sooner) - and all our moderators, including Tom Robinson, will listen to every track. If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud Go tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which will be invisible to everyone. I'D REALLY LIKE TO MEET YOU MAN - Moonlight Parade

Bamboo was created when I was back from my tour in Asia. Travelling over there inspired me so much and helped me to explore different perspectives leading to write profound songs. This song interprets the feeling of love we all have around little things that make any moment special. I always felt like I was a dreamer since my young age and for me, Bamboo is a perfect ballade that represents this state. Eliza and I already worked together in the past with our song No Rush ; I immediately thought of her to lead sing on this one, her voice and softness fit perfectly. We're both excited for this one and hope it will procure you the same feeling we had making it.

With a strong independent ethos and DIY attitude, Joe Peter is an alt-pop music maker who writes, performs and produces his music with an obsessive attention to detail which sets his indie-electro sound apart.

The Brighton based artist is set to release his debut single ‘Self Adhesive’ on 15th May 2020. After working away in his home studio for some time, the track marks the first step in an exciting solo project, acting as an introduction to his carefully crafted alternative pop productions.

The track is set to a backdrop of live and acoustic instrumentation, sampled drum patterns and synth flourishes, with introspective lyrics which muse on the world around him. Speaking of the track and what it represents, Joe explains:

“I dunno why but I wanted to kick things off with something that was a bit more guitar based than my other tracks. Lyrically, it was written as a kick up the arse to myself, but also as a reminder to pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start again.”
