They are the "Sous Soul", promising youngsters with great technical ability and a very high quality. In this case we are talking about this wonderful track called "Macarena", great bassline, powerful percussion and a groove that is sweeping the best dancefloor in the world! Accompanying the original mix there is back another great talent: Mirco Caruso! That in this case he reworked the track by creating a remix more clean and at the same time very addictive. Solid Grooves serve up a five-track Ibiza sampler to tie in with their summer of events at Vista Club in Ibiza. In light of this the founders have curated five tracks from some of their core roster that’s illustrative of the Solid Grooves musical aesthetic including PAWSA and Michael Bibi alongside label favourites ONNO, Reelow and Dennis Cruz.

First up our Debut Transmission today, Dennis Cruz ‘Fever’ is a rumbling track boasting echoing percussion and a heady spoken word sample. Michael Bibi then drops a moody number teeming with syncopated rhythms and chopped vocals before ONNO unleashes a cavernous cut named ‘Body Shake’ that’s geared for the peaktime. Next, PAWSA ‘Luster’ is a bass fuelled roller that takes no prisoners until Reelow concludes the package with the intricate ‘Shaolin Slap’.

A two-track weapon, Retrospective EP kicks off with haunting synth lines that proceed into a weighty breakdown spanning the realms of tech house, acid house and techno. Meanwhile, Can You Play To My Beat leans into more uplifting territories boasting grumbling vocals that weave amongst vivacious throttles and soaring lasers. 

Hailing from Mallorca, Joe Red has garnered support world wide whilst shaking the dance floors of renowned venues including Sankeys Ibiza, BCM and many others. His intricate originals have also seen him release on the likes of Toolroom, Defected and others as well as receiving continued DJ backing from heavyweights, Marco Carola, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Green Velvet among others.  With an array of releases that have landed in the Beatport Top 10, the Retrospective EP is sure to a hold similar fate.
