This track is  a Krakauer cover and I won't miss it to deal with this great clarinet player! It has been a wonderful challenge to have a dialog with DDJohn's clarinet on this cover. ... and I hope I got the Klezmerian Spirit :)
It was exciting to follow the development of the piece! There are endless versions, praise to the persistent work of DDJohn, from konzept, all the versions, his mixing and mastering! Now here it is, I would call it Klezmer Funk!!!

Kickin It For You / Sax on a Krakauer-Cover by DDJohn

This track has been possible thanks to the help of artists from USA/Russia/Germany/France on the base of a simple base track with leading ideas of giving tribute to French authors/composers Maxime Leforestier and Claude Nougaro's wonderful melodies (see links herebelow) supporting awareness on important issues at their time ...and nowadays still it seems .... Further melodic routes were found by all through musical interactions ... 
I feel I owe so much recognition to these great artists who understood my first musical ideas ...and pushed them to a height I would never had imagined :)

"Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
