Out of tune or not, that plastic recorder is awesome! The piece is very relaxing and meditative.   =^]   Ooooooommmmmmm.

I love the combination of twanging harp sounds with the sharp slicing sounds of the recorder... very cool!  I'd love to see a wav file of jaw harp.. it has such an amazing resonance.. this is a cool track - thanks for sending me the link.   And aren't recorders surprisingly fun  in the studio?  :-)

This track began with drums on a wok pan. Therefore, the working title. Which here means there are handmade Precussions. Midi drums added. Saxline added in one go, Jawharp  in F. The bass is played on the MIDI keyboard. A subtle wobble sounds also. Everything you hear is from me. Does not use ready-mades. and ....... This is jam; here and there with mistakes, as in real life.

Wondering

Tribute to the influence of so many different great musicians and their work as for example (especially concerning this piece) Kurt Weill or Carla Bley .....
Myself divide and multiply. Being my own a little woodwind band;)
Being no sheed musician at all, my ears must be my best friends to manage the polyphony and add voice after voice! Bass and drum are vst.
That was the challenge: jam for a horn section!
Hope, the result is music;) , ..... as the piece in its development took the turn to tango I did a fadeout ...... to avoid greater damage

Multiple Woodwind

Tango and mouthorgan! I had the very nice experience to perform harmonica tango live! ...... and immediately started this home recording one! This is a "quick and dirty" mix! I love to dance free, but tango is king in dance feeling.
Hope this feeling is in my tune:)

This work started with a cheap yellow(!) Plastic Recorder,
to boot out of tune.
With this "instrument" I started to add a line to a jawharp basic rythm.

The result can now be heard here! Have fun with it!

A "True2Nature" Production...    My first track with out any AI in a long time..  (beside the graphic)  my computer can finally run a decent "session/project"   so hopefully this is one out many more to come..  

CONTROL FREQ (MUSIC)

This one's pretty typical of how I tend to compose music - I often create a drum beat I like, then add a bass and build around that. The main inspiration for this ditty was basically to play to a less common time signature, in this case a 7/8 rhythm. That reminded me of the funny 'yes, but yellow' meme circulating out there on the internet, so I whipped up this quick image in Photoshop to go with it (note the yellow slice is 1 eighth of the pie).  😊

I'm playing all instruments here on keyboard, except the slide guitar (dobro?), which is made up of several short loops in Garageband, sliced up to fit the 7/8 pattern I wanted)

"Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.

In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
