Joey Daniel returns as he rounds out the label’s 2022 schedule with a trio of late-night offerings via his ‘The First Agreement’ EP.

Setting the tone early with a selection of quality releases made for the dancefloor, Joey Daniel and his blossoming SiO Records imprint have quickly caught the attention of a long list of leading names within the minimal-leaning realms of house and techno. Fresh from welcoming his first guest to the label, with Argentinian maestro Guti serving up a collection of slick productions, the label founder is back to close out the year as he delivers a well-crafted package showcasing his talents within the studio via his ‘The First Agreement’ EP.

Title track ‘The First Agreement’ is a typically smooth production guided by crisp percussion arrangements and hooky vocal interjections to bring a captivating and hypnotic groove with hazy yet punchy undertones. Next, ‘Positive Territory’ merges organic drums with eerie, warping vocal murmurs and spiralling lead synths for yet more early hours material, before ‘Upside Down Jazz’ closes the show by delving into off-kilter territories as wonky synth stabs and echoed vocal snippets ebb and wave around the track’s on point groove.

Miguel Roa, alias MR.OX, es un DJ y productor colombiano. Su estilo varía entre distintos ritmos rápidos, siempre inclinado hacia sonidos hipnóticos, industriales y «grooveros». Sus melodías bailables han acompañado la escena caleña durante tres años.

Además, fue DJ residente del colectivo Zecta Underground por dos años, lo que le ha permitido compartir cabina con artistas como Keith Barrera, Lourdes, Andhray, Kamra y Roma. En 2025 fue telonero de Charlie Sparks y Dyen, al resultar uno de los ganadores del DJ Contest de La Divina. Ese mismo año creó su primer sello discográfico, Kondorian Records, del cual continúa formando parte y desde el cual se lanza música de manera constante.

MR.OX ha publicado podcasts en MNMT y Noise Podcast, y ha lanzado temas en sellos colombianos como Darkcode Records, además de sus propios lanzamientos en Kondorian Records.

Miguel Roa, also known as MR.OX, is a Colombian DJ and producer. His style spans various fast-paced rhythms, always leaning toward hypnotic, industrial and groovy sounds. His danceable melodies have been part of the Cali scene for three years.

He was also the resident DJ of the Zecta Underground collective for two years, which allowed him to share the booth with artists such as Keith Barrera, Lourdes, Andhray, Kamra and Roma. In 2025, he opened for Charlie Sparks and Dyen after being one of the winners of La Divina’s DJ Contest. That same year, he founded his first record label, Kondorian Records, of which he remains a member and through which music is released constantly.

MR.OX has published podcasts on MNMT and Noise Podcast, and has released tracks on Colombian labels such as Darkcode Records, in addition to his own releases on Kondorian Records.
