Of the artists who inspired the launch of 3am Recordings, Miles Hollway & Elliot Eastwick are probably those who are at the top of the chart; initially producing as the superb Salt City Orchestra with Si Brad, then latterly as Reset, with Merlin, providing yet more absolutely outstanding deep vibes. I've already recorded 'A Nod to Salt City Orchestra', so felt it was time to do 'A Nod To Reset', as their tracks remain regular features in my sets to this day. Those familiar with their vinyl will understand the reason behind the artwork used for this mix.... He was founder and editorial director of the first electronic music magazine and DJs of Mexico: 'DJ Mexico' (1996); As well as editor of elektrorave.com, 'DJ Concept', 'In the Groove', magazine 'Night Club Industry Forum', among many other spaces for DJ culture and national nightlife.
As a DJ, in 2008 he released his CD Mix: "Tech-Mex" (Groove Records), which included the most outstanding projects of the most important national electronic music collectives, among which artists such as Mendoza / Panoptica Latinsizer (Nortec Collective), Rubinskee (Konfort Discs), Murcof (Static), Transistor (Abolipop), Fax (Static), Shock Bukara (Nopalbeat), Paravoice (Nopalbeat), Manrico Montero, Tobi Temple (Pink Money), Biötek (Orbesonora), among many others.

Hi Y'lls

Here is my mix from KEXP Seattle's show Midnight In Perfect World form 8/19. I went very different from what I usually do. To be honest I had a funk and r&b/hip hop set all planned out but ditched it because I felt like i wanted to something completely unexpected, which was a last min decision.  More of a flow/blending mix oppose to beatmatching to house and funk. Got some nice acoustic (minimal), indie stuffs, midtempo spacey jams, and some outside of the box tunes. I love all this stuff and have a wide taste in music that I never show.

Joey Webb, a native of San Francisco, has been dishing out dance floor rhythms for over twenty years. Now residing in the Seattle area, he has been bringing his charismatic energy to the turntables as a consistent sound selector for a variety of house, world groves, funk, and soul evenings in the region. Joey has utilized his experience as a DJ in New York City, Houston, San Francisco, and Seattle, where he held party residences, to produce sets that cross genres and entertain thousands. He has supported house legends such as Ron Trent, Terry Hunter, Heather &amp; Colette, David Harness, and Miguel Migs, among others. Joey, a pillar of the Seattle underground house music community, continues to play the music he loves without limitation.
