Heute ist es soweit, wir feiern "10 Jahre Club Zooma"!

An dieser Stelle möchte ich deshalb DANKE sagen. Danke an alle,
die, egal ob aktiv oder passiv, dazu beigetragen haben, dass
unser Club 10 Jahre besteht.

Danke an Jasmin, die eigentlich nur eine flüchtige Bekannte war
aber dennoch angerufen hat "ey Norman, ein Kumpel will in Plauen
einen Club aufmachen, haste da nicht Bock bissl mitzumachen?".

Das war der ausschlaggebende Punkt! Keine Ahnung ob ich ohne sie
auch irgendwie zum Zooma gekommen wäre.

Danke an Eric. Zooma = Eric = Zooma = Eric ;)
Ich weiß noch, vor 10 Jahren. Wir hatten uns unbekannter Weise
an der Tankstelle im "kalten Feld" Reichenbach getroffen und Du
hast voller Euphorie, aber mit genau so viel Blauäugigkeit, Deine
Vision vom Zooma erzählt. Wir waren in den 10 Jahren oft der gleichen
Meinung aber ich glaube noch öfter unterschiedlicher Meinung.
Vielleicht war das die benötigte Würze ;)

Vielen Dank an Jens, der mich immer mit "ach Norman, unser
dienstältester DJ" begrüsst. Auch wenn ich das immer abtue,
es ehrt mich wirklich sehr!!

Danke an DB, den ich durchs Zooma kennengelernt habe. Du warst mir
all die Jahre ein guter Freund. Auch in meinen "verrückten" Zeiten
warst Du dennoch immer korrekt. Vielen Dank dafür und besten
Gruß nach downunder ;)

Vielen Dank an unsere Security, die dann nach so 5 oder 6 Jahren
endlich mal keinen Stempel mehr von mir sehen wollte :D :D :D

Danke an die Bardamen, die Techniker, meine Resident-Kollegen und
all die anderen Helferlein die sich immer sehr bemühen und den
Club am laufen halten.

Danke an die Polizei, die mich in 10 Jahren nur ein einziges mal
kontrolliert hat.

Danke an all die DJs für so viele tolle Sets. Danke auch an all die
DJs die geduldig warten um endlich mal bei uns spielen zu dürfen.

Danke an unsere Gäste. Egal ob Stammgast oder nur einmal bei uns gewesen.
Ihr seid der Grund überhaupt, warum wir das überhaupt machen!

Ich möchte an dieser Stelle allen danken, jedem Einzelnen der in 
irgend einer Art und Weise dazu beigetragen hat, dass wir jetzt
sagen können "10 Jahre Club Zooma".

Der größte Dank geht aber an meine liebe Frau, die es ohne Murren
und Knurren hin nimmt, dass ich so oft die ganze Nacht (Zooma Nächte
sind meist sehr sehr lang) in der Weltgeschichte rumtingel. Es ist
mir sehr wichtig, diesen Rückhalt zu haben!!! <3

Sean's "It's Time" album was universally well received in the house community, and rightly so, it was a strong debut featuring an array of talented vocalist and strong songs.

For this EP the tracky 90's style ‘Holding On’ gets reworked by Crackazat who keeps the original vibe adding Smack Productions style keys and his trademark jazzy, warm production to Sean’s original. Crackazat has come to the attention of dj’s including Disclosure, Detroit Swindle and Homework through his releases on Futureboogie and more recently Sweden’s Local Talk where he released his latest album ‘Crescendo’.

Released earlier this year, Atjazz's remix of ‘Reach Out’ feat. Hannah Khemoh was universally well received and supported by Danny Tenaglia, Tensnake, Tony Humphries, Golf Clap, Rainer Trueby and more. Joey Negro has done his own edit of Atjazz's mix focusing on the groove and BV's.

Sean completes the remix package with his own broken dub take on ‘Finally’ featuring vocals from Taliwa.

The man that represents the deeper side of Amsterdam house is back on Dirt Crew. His last outing on Detroit Swindle’s “Heist Recordings”, the “Le Troubadour EP” was another fine example of that laid back funky deep house only Nachtbraker can squeeze out.

Settling into the groove immediately is ‘Hump’, bouncing chords and a warbling Rhodes lead into an irresistible bass line. The title track, ‘Backstabber’ hits right in the hips, a chugging feel good work out for the dance floor. The flip remains true to the flavor of this whole EP, offering up a massive speaker rattling bottom end and funk flavored keys on ’Time Is Of The Essence’, while ’Monday Mourning’ steps up with expertly cut disco samples, an effervescent excursion with a jazzy lead and a touch of vocoder for good measure. The release is rounded out with digi only offering ‘Yaaa’, a sub driven deep house work out, boasting swelling loops and hypnotic percussion.

Nachtbraker’s sharp sense of harmony and knack for vibe is ever present throughout this whole release, he has truly fine tuned his sound to a perfect balance of unbounded energy and stylish musicianship. We are happy to welcome him back on Dirt Crew with this classy release.

The inspiration of this mix comes from the Trashed 2 Year Anniversary Party March 2012. I did a tag set with Flat Black that night. We fused original 70's disco with nu disco, disco house and pushed the bpm's up to 126. We kept the breakdowns funky, the build ups loud and the drops shook the crowd. This mix I call Phunkidisco does just that. Once you press play the groove will take you away.

The theme that night was a retro disco party with bell bottoms, afros and big mustaches. The image art for this mix is an actual shot taking from the party. It's a moment that catches the vibe and energy on stage.

Another fantastic EP on Enormous Deep from swiss based NORA EN PURE who returns to her home base and delivers 3 stunning indie dance tracks. 
We're opening up the EP with the title track COME WITH ME. A classy and touching piano chord construction builds the basic, slowly filtering up and down during the whole arrangement. Some jazzy vocal phrases and adlibs support the melodic parts. 
LONELINESS takes the more classic indie dance direction, heading on to lift off with a hammering 80s beat pattern, sweeping atmospheres, deep house synth stabs and a funky bass line underneath. This hazy, light dappled nu disco track will become, for sure, a secret night weapon in any whether indie dance but also deep house DJ sets.
The last slot on the EP is home to the track called NORMA JEAN. A buttery blend of percussion, Melody and warm chords, creating a relaxed mood to swing your hips. The track extends just close the 6 minute mark, giving you time to get into the mood and lose yourself on the dancefloor, just exactly as you should.
