@Qlank’s latest EP on @NightBassRecords is a club-ready 4 tracker with a title that is as on-brand as the signature Qlank flavor of dark and heavy bass that is stamped throughout the entire release. His ‘Dance Again’ EP follows the release of his single ‘Suffocating’, a massive collab with @ACSlater featuring charged up verses from @QueenMillzOfficial. The dark and deep sounds of ‘Dance Again’ come in first followed by the heavy bass and fidgety glitches of ‘Step Aside’. Up next is the collaborative bass-house roller ‘Don’t Stop’ with @Kage-dj and to round the EP off in peak-vibes fashion we have the collab single with AC.

I was in the UK last year after a massive summer of touring, caught the train down to Brighton with some friends, and ended up in an incredible studio overlooking the beach. I was missing home a bit, but feeling really inspired and wanted to write a feel-good record, reminding myself of the importance of saving time for the ones I care and love. Whilst (In the studio) overlooking the same site Fatboy Slim hosted his ‘Big Beach Boutique’, I was thinking about the UK’s dance music history, it inspired me, and decided to lean into the idea of writing something that sounds sampled, but isn't. I often like to write records completely on my own, but it feels so perfect to have written this one alongside some good pals — Clementine Douglas, Caitlin Stubbs & Toby Scott.
