this mix was created with the intention of creating a safe sonic place for us to just be as we are. and in that being as we are, we are vibrant, we are hot, we are full of love for ourselves and we want to express that. i feel that our right to be able to exist in that and to exist safely is hard to come by at times. in a world of wolf whistles, gendered violence and misogyny, it becomes hard to be safe in being ourselves.
i hope this mix serves as a respite from that often harsh reality. and that you can shake your booty, stick your tongue out and be YOU in all of your glory and sensuality.
