Nine year ago, or so, 
a full cube of dirty sugar was intercepted.
The dirtiest sugar cube ever seen.
The only use we found for it was the ending injection.
A Libera gift, 
as the streets were liberated to use.
Dare I say, ass-holes, yes I do.

And of course the legalizing the plant. 
What a joke this has turned out to be.
Now we have RULES!
Back in the day, we had freedoms, 
something to smile about.
TELL me, where did the aroma go?
WHAT, did you all do to the herb?
How did you steal the smell?

So we all wonder how the finances got so crazy.
Really, what was this Liberal plan.
Why the filthy dust that kills?
Was that the financial plan? 
At the expense of the weak and sore.
And the working poor
So now we have this pill that killed Prince.
Purple rain.
The streets have never beed worse,
with nowhere to live.
