Bless! was born in Atlanta, Georgia but lived in New York for over 15 years. His music embodies the essence of hip hop and flows in a direction that focuses on issues of family rights, social injustice, love/hate relationships and is immersed with spirituality.

Bless! has been a successful music writer for most of his life and has provided his artistic expertise to a variety of artist in the U.S. and Europe. Along with his personal success through Canadian and Japanese radio, his compositions have been used in CNN segments as well as on internet radio programs.  He also has enjoyed significant sales of his music through his riveting live performances and the internet. 

Since the release of his latest album “2nd Time Out: America’s Nightmare” in 2007, Bless! returned to school and completed his paralegal studies. 

Now back with a new sound, no curses in his verses, and more spirituality, Bless! will soon release his third album, “I Once Too Was A Sinner.” His hope is that it will help create positive change in the lives of his audience.

The first single released “Dad” is a thought provoking hip hop vibe calling on lawmakers to support providing more opportunities for fathers who want to be present for their children yet face legal and relationship barriers hindering them from doing so. This song sends a strong message to society that there are fathers who want to put in the time with their children and need help.

Despite his success, Bless! continues to have a love for his community and participates in volunteer and mentoring programs. Many of his performances have been to support worthy causes, such as breast cancer awareness, Stop the Violence Movement and Princess Pearls a young girls mentorship program.

His future plans include completing his third album and establishing his community mentorship program called “ReachBack.” His vision includes serving teen boys providing training designed to groom boys to be men and assisting them in the areas of male parenting, healthy relationships, as well as personal finance and activities of daily living.
