SeaWorld is the sequel to Joey Trap’s 2024 project All My Friends Take Acid, expanding on the world first introduced in its standout single “SeaWorld.” This time, Joey dives deeper into a fully realized sonic universe built around aquatic metaphors — seals, dolphins, and waves — each representing different states of euphoria, addiction, and escape.
Produced largely by Joey himself, SeaWorld channels the spirit of Future, Young Thug, and Playboi Carti while maintaining his unmistakable individuality. The album captures the fluidity of modern trap — melodic yet aggressive, experimental yet cohesive — as he explores the blurred lines between reality and the surreal.
From the production to the writing, this project showcases Joey’s evolution as both an artist and a producer. It’s a fully immersive experience — confident, hallucinatory, and unapologetically his own.
