Tracktober 020:  verspatet in B minor at 118BPM

Day 20 of my Tracktober challenge 🎃 — every day this month I’m writing and posting a track sketch. These are works-in-progress (WIP), not finished mixes (I only put max 2 hours into each one!) — the goal is to practice showing up daily, experiment with new ideas, and share the creative process openly instead of waiting until everything is “perfect.”

• Concept: Pastiche a viral fad and make it spooky! Today I used the Deustche Bahn Video from Germany’s (in)famous rail service. 

• What I practiced: adjusting drum racks (i started with 808!), shared space, stripping vocals, quantization, determining key, finding appropriate samples, arrangement,

• Imperfections: Definitely needs a bassline, but it’s pretty spooky as is! 

• Influences: My dear transit nerd friend Matt Solly and iconic DB fan @caarven on IG, maker of the famous @desperategerman series
