O Pet Shop Boys, é uma dupla Inglesa do início dos anos 80’s de Pop, Synthpop, formada por, Francis Tennant e Christopher Sean Lowe, que se conheceram em uma loja de eletrônico, que a partir de uma conversa informal sobre gosto musicais, sentiram algo em comum por dance music e sintetizadores, e formaram o Pet Shop Boys, nome este que foi atribuído por causa de amigos trabalhavam em um Pet Shop. Antes a dupla teve o nome de West End.

A dupla, Pet Shop Boys, acumulou um catálogo notavelmente consistente e muito influente, com suas músicas melódicas e alegres, com arranjos eletrônicos, exuberantes, e se tornaram uma das maiores duplas da história.
