"A.L.E.X." is a pop ballad about a young man choosing the wrong path of life. The title is both a name and an acronym standing for "all lies excused with ecstasy", though ecstasy is a pars pro toto image. Written in my teenage years, this song has a special meaning to me, because its songwriting, arrangement and instrumentation was years ahead of my knowledge and capabilities. I had to grow up first to understand the real meaning of the lyrics. It's not a song about drug abuse. It's a song about self-rejection, pretending a better self and ending in a desaster. After 15 years of hard work, we were able to finish this song even better than expected. I'd like to thank everybody for taking this unbelieveable journey with me and turning my draft into a gemstone.

The White Wolf | Cinematic Action Music | The Winter Soldier

I've always enjoyed singing this popular calypso carol over the advent/Christmas period so it was an obvious choice to record my own version. It was written in 1988 by the prolific Graham Kendrick. I was lucky enough to meet Graham a few year's ago - a nice, genuine and unassuming man. He was generous with his time and encouraged me to keep on song writing.

Old & new from the RSH impro course. Eunhyun Chu, flute; Sarah Kaufmann, English Horn; Haneul Kim, French Horn; Heongjin Oh, Tuba; Carolin Seelhof, Didgeridoo; Sohyeon Oh, violin; Ella Sternstedt and Lars Radloff, Double Bass; additional tracks + mixed + produced by Hubertus Dreyer.

The piece feels most comfortable on big fat speakers, which is inversely proportional to how the majority of listeners then are likely to feel.

Obviously, this is purely functional music (how do I drive annoying guests out of my flat? How do I tell my co-workers that I want the meeting to end? How do I commit the perfect crime?).

Asymmetrik is Sofia-born techno producer. He is concentrated on the diversity in the techno realm producing varied pieces going from obscure and minimalist soundscapes to the high energy club weapons. His music is working its way to your mind leading it to obscure places and setting the scene for the imagination to run wild. That variety ensures his music sounds relevant in every setting.

Asymmetrik’s first album “Parallel Reality” represents the alternative worlds running alongside each other and occasionally even crossing their trajectories. As in the string theory, it is presenting the idea of parallel to each other universes. It stands for the “now”, “will be” and for the “was”. The album will bring you trough darkness and light. It will throw you in the air and then pull you back under the surface of reality.

Chicago's "I Will" Motto: the figure depicted and the words “I Will” represent a rival or alternative to Chicago’s official motto “Urbs in Horto” (City in a Garden), which was adopted in 1837. The figure and slogan were dreamed up by Chicago artist Charles Holloway, who was the first-place winner in an 1891 contest sponsored by The Chicago Inter Ocean newspaper. Some three hundred artists submitted entries, and Holloway’s entry of a goddess figure suited for battle came out on top. Reflecting her defiant attitude, she wore a breastplate that reads "I Will." With her crown depicting a phoenix rising from the flames, she also seems to symbolize the resolve of Chicago to rise from the ashes of the Great Chicago Fire, which destroyed much of the city just 20 years before the Inter Ocean contest. For his inspired creation, Holloway was awarded $200 (about $6,000 today).

I primarily play saxophone but also play some percussion, keyboards. I’m currently working on new material and posting experimental work this Fall.

The tracks are currently all my compositions, but in the coming years I hope to cover some songs in time! Matt W contributes bass on some older tracks.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
