There will be an album - 'Afal' - a little later in the year. It's all finished and off to be pressed at the magic vinyl sonic induction factory.

'Have You Seen Lyra Today?' won't be on the album. It had a late night out and this is its punishment. It laughed when I told it.

All these songs were recorded at home.

My neighbours are saints, and my garden is very very overgrown, but you only live once, right?

Johana used song as a level means to communicate with the Cardiff Bay barrage; with the space, it's heavy machinery, intense weather patterns and it's spirit.  

All sounds are generated by objects, environments and Johana's voice.   The recording took place over a few days and all the editing was done in the residency 'Milkfloat' caravan, which was situated on lock island number 2.
