What Johan does in the DJ both can be compared with what a court jester used to do for the king, he offers a unique mix of devilishly good entertainment. Rhythms that will make you fall headfirst into an underworld where you get caught up in a jumble of sad clowns and magical creatures who together create an epos worthy of a hysterical circus manège. He would make grandmas blush of embarrassment, he’s a time shifter and a shape shifter for the awkward outdated and corny super heavy deep cheesy hardcore style that transforms in all gods given shapes and corners of basically all genres there is, blending it to oblivion bolivian goat funk. He does it, like no other. He lives royal, he plays royal!

I started buying and spinning records in 1997 or 1998.
It all started with a love for real electro music. But already soon a mixtape of I-F came to my ear, in which he played Charlie - Space Woman. I instantly fell in love with this record and my love for Italo Disco started. Later this love expanded itself to Chicago House, Disco, Oldschool Electro, and all other quality dance music.

Somewhere in the beginning of my DJ career I earned the name, Gijs from Space' from some locals in a bar where I was resident DJ.

Hope you enjoy the music as much as I do!
