Back to Light - NYE 2024/2025

"Animism" is a spiritual or religious belief that all natural things; such as animals, plants, rocks, rivers, weather systems, and even human-made objects; have a living soul or spirit. It is one of the oldest belief systems in the world and is central to many indigenous and tribal cultures.

Animism is the first word that came to my mind, as I was creating this profoundly spiritual and organic Set. So embark on a journey with me full of magical buildups, spiritual messages, tribal voices of our ancestral spirits and most importantly... some of the most earth-shattering drops that i ever heard in psytrance history.

I’m incredibly happy to share my closing set from the legendary Burgklang Daydance 2025.

It rained the entire day – but that didn’t stop the most dedicated souls from showing up. Despite the weather, the festival was sold out, and the vibe was unreal. Soaked to the bone but smiling, you danced through the storm until the very last kick. The energy was electric – raw, real, and unforgettable. ⚡💃

I consciously built this set around epic, emotional melodies – powerful, driving, and filled with that special goosebump magic. Moments that lift you up, carry you away, and stay with you long after the last bassline fades.

Massive love to the incredible crew and organizers for making this dreamlike event happen. And to everyone who danced with me until the end: this one’s for you.

Johan - Indian Nasha Dj - Set 2017 Vol.1

In the early 80s Johan Nilsson was born in Sweden and later grew up in the northern German city of Kiel.
Johan fell in love with psy trance at the age of eleven,
when he came across the legendary album "The Lone Deranger" by "Hallucinogen".
Since then, Johan has collected psy and progressive trance music.
When he was 18 he decided to start djing and organize parties.
After a while, things got going and they have grown until today.
Over the years the Optical Irriatation party series has emerged as one of the highlights of the northern German party scene.
Nowadays, Johan is a well estabilshed DJ with a lot of gigs at German major events and
club parties. As a DJ he is known for always having the right sound at the right time in his constantly updated case.
