The author of EDD-989 is Eduard Korkin from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Eduard started his music career as an adherent of analog synthesizers and samplers, he was exploring his vision of sound in IDM, techno, downtempo. In 2011 he continued combining a range of music genres into his vision of cosmic ambient, and proved to be a bright chillout composer. After releasing Journey To The Core Of The Galaxy and The Return albums, Eduard assigned the status of a talented master in atmospheric chillout.

Double Star System is a brand new chapter in the music career of EDD-989. The album is full of groovy rhythms and immersive pads which are textured and tangible. The neat and clear samples intertwine into an elegant pattern of a transparent sound canvas. The sound architecture of the album is adorned with excellent vocals. The music of the album deeply touches listeners’ heartstrings and takes the mind far away to distant galaxies.

Sonic scapes of sound and substance may rouse the keen ear into discovery. When one really listens, everything is music, and when one really experiences, one is everything. This is the theme of "I The Beholder", the absolute power one has on their perception and Aeonium's desire to use this for good, for the manifestation of beauty. 

Over 4 years in the making, I The Beholder incorporates absolutely everything the Dutch multi-instrumentalist has in his repertoire, from several instrumentations on piano, santur, handpan and many more, to tape, synthesizer and field recording, all fuzzed through the creative process of digital production. From oriental house to wicked shuffles, from dubby basslines to ambient textures, this album represents the variety of music and their possible fusions when the listener sets their mind to really listening and taking this process as an active endeavor. Greatly enhanced by the beautiful sounds of Nienke Deiter, Frodi Fransman and Namasterri.

Here is the brand new album from Astral Waves, aka DJ Zen.

Altar Records offers you a trip to the land of the Thousand and One Nights with "La Danse de la Lune" (Moon Dance).
This album is natural, organic with a lot of instrumentation. Almost all of the instruments were recorded in the studio between 2015 and 2020, specifically to create the unique and groovy vibe of this album.
You may recognize some song names here, already released in compilations. They have been completely reworked here.

The work on this album was considerable: it took 5 years to achieve it in order to be satisfied with the results...It played in Astral Waves live sets at outdoor festivals in Canada and Europe and received many positive feedback. Gaudi really liked "Lullaby for the Godchild" at Samsara 2018.

All the thanks go to the fabulous artists who put their hands in the dough: Project Æolia on the flute, DJ Parhladji aka Patrick Bernard and Lydia on vocals, Rachel on the flute on track # 5, Elea for the vocals and instruments in the remixes as well as Sufi's Life and Merlin also for their composition work. A big thanks to Amani Friend from Desert Dwellers for his trust and patience as well as Louis from Suduaya for his amazing guitar play on track # 5.

By the year of 2021 Takkra has evolved into a 7 piece live band as the core team joined by 3 vocalist: Molek Keri, Julcsi Szomr&aacute;ky and Donna Terra.

Consequently vocals have become more prominent and the live shows turned into real ecstatic medicinal therapy seances.

During our jams the songs have naturally reshaped in terms of arrangements, structures and melodies, the overall vibe has drifted towards a more organic, live sound.

Reactivated was recorded during several live sessions and gigs between 2012 and 2023. 
We felt it is important to share these tunes in their raw, unpolished form that perhaps capture some of the magic of the live Takkra shows.

Cabeiri takes listeners on a journey beyond the constraints of time with their new album 'Beyond Time'. Blending psychedelic, chill and futuristic electronic styles, the album creates a unique sonic world that feels both timeless and ahead of its time. 

Opening track "Citizen" eases listeners into the album with soothing ambient textures before launching into a driving beat and shimmering synthwork that sets the tone for the album's fusion of organic and electronic elements. Tracks like "Metavasis" and "War of Species" showcase Cabeiri's skill at crafting infectious, danceable tracks within a psychedelic framework. 

While many songs ride the line between psychedelia and cyberpunk, "Nineth Avatar" stands out for its cinematic scope and layered sound design. Glitchy effects and eerie melodies transport the listener to a futuristic dystopia. The album's closing track "Astronauts" is its most expansive, combining ethereal vocals, trance-inducing rhythms and swirling soundscapes into a blissful peak.

With 'Beyond Time', Cabeiri demonstrates a rare talent for world-building with sound. The album draws listeners into a vision of the future that feels both foreign and familiar. Cabeiri pushes the boundaries of genre to create an immersive listening experience that will keep listeners hitting repeat.

It tells the course of a future citizen until the adjustment in a super high tech state.
