Having been attending Origin Festival for over a decade, this was a dream booking come true! South Africa's premier psychedelic festival and I had the honour of kicking the Beats Floor off on Saturday morning. It was an early start just after 8am, so I selected tracks to ease everyone into their day: whether they were grooving on the floor, lounging next to the river a couple meters away having their morning swim or chilling in their campsites just over the river, this selection was bound to get them ready for the madness of the day that lay ahead.

The mix features a ton of new releases as well as some throwback classics (both tracks that make regular appearances in my sets and a couple I haven't played for a while). I hope you enjoy listening back to this as much as I had putting it together and playing it. And big thanks for all the love from the dancefloor and those that made it out - was so epic seeing you all moving and having fun out there!

Continuing on with the re-recordings, here's my set from Pangea 2023! This has been hands down my most talked about set and the most people asking me if there is a recording. Unfortunately, the recordings went missing so I had to attempt to re-create this crazy morning - something I didn't think possible which is why it's taken so long to get up... But, I decided it's time! This was such an epic set to play - closing the mighty Pangea Canyon on the Friday night, 3-5am, after @delamoonmusic rinsed it for the previous 3h! I set the goal to drop a bpm or two on every track, and so this starts out around 125bpm and ends at 104 - something pretty different and I couldn't believe how well it worked / how much of the crowd stayed till the very end (pretty much all of them - thank you legends for dancing and sharing your energy with me <3). Was also quite full circle playing after Dela as we had met on our travels a couple months earlier and Pangea booked us to play next to each other without realising :)

I’m thrilled to share the recording of my live DJ set, captured during the magical sunset on Saturday, August 3rd, at the Artibarn stage of OZORA Festival 2024 ! 

This set was a deeply medicinal experience for me, bringing healing and a profound sense of connection. It allowed me to share so much joy and energy with all of you, the audience, through downtempo vibes, world music influences, and grooves that united us in the moment. Thanks Gabor for recording and OZORA festival to invited me, and Thanks dancers for your incredible energy, your presence, and the smiles that made this moment unforgettable 💛

Drawing inspiration from, yet not tethered to, Australia's progressive theatrical organic psychedelic noises, South Africa's House music and psychedelic trance community and the natural melodious down-tempo echoes emanating from festivals around the world.
