This set was recorded live at AUM Festival in New Zealand during NY's of 22/23. I do love a good Festy and this one is bloody epic! Thanks to John Paul Moss for the live recording! I am beyond chuffed to have played and closed the main stage on the first night a couple of times now. What a bloody treat! Thank you to the wonderful peeps at AUM for having me play again, and thanks for all those that stayed up and had a boogie along with me. Shine on xx

...over the last year or so i had a good friend digitalizing a box of old DAT tapes i found recently in my basement. Loads of mixes, live recordings and my regular monthly mixes, that i started doing in the 80`s already... mainly the the time between 1994-2002.....there`s so many memories, you have no idea.... I will release a bunch of them step by step... so if anyone is interested where I`m coming from...enjoy these timetravels... starting today with a mix (obvs all vinyl...) of what i called TRIPPY & JUNGLE back in September 1996... a reminescence to my intensive times i had in the 90`s spending a lot of time in Bristol/UK and witnessing the development of these sounds... great times. Enjoy this surely unusual set and more to come v soon

Shaun Rowland | Indie Dance House Nu Trance Live | Tilt Shift Tuesday 30th July 2024

Shaun has had music in his blood since a very early age mixing and compiling sets in his teenage years and this passion has never dimmed. He runs One More Tune, a weekly radio show on Kiss FM and a regular party in Melbourne that celebrated its seventh anniversary this year. Throughout his DJ journey, the genres and subgenres may have changed over time but there’s always been one quality at the core of his sound: energy. 

Shaun prides himself on his high-octane sets taking in influences from late nineties trance & progressive, speed garage, early 00s electro, melodic techno, and synthwave. Recently Shaun has fully embraced the sound of Indie Dance being inspired by producers such as Damon Jee, Rafael Cerato, and Vhyce - there’s nothing he likes better than a big synth and an arpeggiated bassline - oh, and some vocals and pianos too for good measure.

Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception.
