In this week's 6AM Guest Mix we introduce you to the raw sounds of Los Angeles based producer and DJ Demek.

Influenced by the underground culture and scene of his city, Demek's productions shine in this mix, featuring industrial and acid techno suited for the dark confines of the warehouse parties that permeate the current scene in LA. The mix contains 6 originals and 2 remixes from Demek himself, who is signed up to Wicked Waves Recording.

Hi! My name is Johan and this is where I post my various mixes. I've been DJ-ing since 1997 and am Senior Curation Director at DI.FM (www.di.fm). I've been doing these mixes since early 2000 and they feature whatever the heck I'm into atm but usually it's some sort of current Techno, Acid Techno, Progressive House, Hard Trance OR retrospectives about various labels and artists from the 90s.
