On August 23, 2024, I had taken a day off of work to get some extra time in on a master bathroom remodel on our house.  I was up in the attic to work on ductwork.  I had a board straddling the joists that I was using to kneel on.  The board split under me, and I had a 9-foot drop from the attic to the hard bathroom floor below.  Miraculously, I got up and walked away with only a minor concussion and my wrist fractured in 3 places.  The outcome of my fall could have been so much worse, and I feel extremely lucky and grateful that it wasn't worse.

Shortly after the accident, I was really missing my DJ streams on Twitch.  I initially thought DJing without my right hand would be very difficult, but I couldn't bear the thought of not streaming for 6 weeks.  So, on Thursday, August 29th, not even one week after the accident, I was back to streaming, just to see how well I could do it.  I was extremely happy to find that I had just enough control of the fingers in my right hand to be able to do everything I normally do in a set. 

This set is my triumphant return!
