2003 at WEMF, Canada.

I don't remember too much but it was a very hot sweaty building and I think it had been put together a bit last minute after a previous venue fell through? 

Anyway there was Drum & Bass before me and I honestly wasn't too sure how to follow it. Canadian crowds can be a little hard to predict so I figured I'd start with the Ms Dynamite bootleg I had just picked up from Balafonic Ben and it set the tone for the night.

Then there's the Luke slater horn track mix with that vocoder "hear The Drummer" bit in it, I think people thought that was my signature tune but it wasn't, it was just straight up coincidence, Good though.

Anyway yeah, it's all vinyl of course, there was nothing else at that period of time and it was a lot of fun, 18 years old and counting.

Here is the latest edition of my long-running Eurotrash mix series, dedicated to the best of 90's European (and a little UK) hard trance and hard acid. This edition is a little bit more sedate than some of the others, starting at 135 bpm and ending at 150 bpm, but it's still packed full of absolutely killer tracks, both classic and obscure. As ever, this is mixed completely on vinyl.
