This month we have the content director of the station at the helm with guest duties from Malmö, Sweden: Johan "303" Lecander.  Johan has 20 years of DJing experience under his belt, has held multiple residencies around the globe, and content director since 2000 of 10 DI.FM Radio Stations (including Oldschool Acid Radio). He brings a plethora of knowledge, talent, and skill to the show, and it's a honor to have him as the guest.   

Johan N. Lecander – Biography

In 1997, after spending much of the early 90’s as a raver kid in the South Swedish underground scene, Johan decided to get more involved and started DJing and helping out organizing events. Around 2000 Johan started sharing his DJ mixes online under his ‘DJ Irish’ alias through his website AssortedTrance.com. His various mixes, ranging from Progressive House to Trance to Hard Trance grew fast in popularity and soon gathered a large following. This lead to an international DJ career where he got repeat bookings in countries such as USA, Turkey, Egypt, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and of course in his native Sweden.

During the same time Johan got involved in the newly started radio station Digitally Imported Radio (DI.FM) were he helped launch several new channels and soon became a full time staff member. DI.FM has over the years grown to become the largest internet radio service for electronic dance music and Johan is still with DI.fm as a Content Director, overseeing the content of all 90+ channels.
