Essential Guide To Rising High Records (1993-1995)

PowerStateFailure is Paul O'Connell. I am an 80's kid and heavily influenced by the new wave synthesised sound that evolved during that era.  I started out DJ'ing in house and techno sounds and was privileged to be involved in both on pirate radio and on the Dublin clubbing scene in the early 90's. I progressed to home studio recording in the noughties and have been playing with synthesizers in my set up for over a decade. I consider myself kind of eclectic when it comes to producing, and my styles vary, depending on the mood. I hope you find something you like. Available for gigs.

STRID (CH) 🇨🇭 

En découvrant Electric Light Orchestra Et Alan Person Project dans les vinyls de son père, il se passionne pour les disques et la musique électronique dès son plus jeune age (14ans). Il achète ses première MK2 en 1996 et apprends à mixer, seul chez lui, en regardant des vidéos telles que THUNDERDOME pour la Hollande, ou MAYDAY pour l Allemagne.  La RaveMusic née dans les années 90s devient son styles de prédilection.

originaire de Genève artiste actif depuis les années 90s sur la scène régionale il c est produit sur quelques évent suisse comme freakshow au côté de ruffneck, et les 25 ans de Mokum et divers fois aux Hardsound et Hardcore Mercenary et autres.
Son style se distingue entre le HC Old school et New School il est aussi friand des mixes sur platines vinyles avec des sets rythmés.                                       Depuis les années 2000, ces horizons musicaux s'étendent à plusieurs styles de musique électronique. En 2010 il décide de changer mon nom de scène et devient StridThePurrist ou Strid afin de mettre en avant son affection pour les styles précurseur avec des nuances de OldSchool.
