Maelstrom is a French techno artist with over 15 years of experience. He might only just be putting out his debut album, but he’s long been recognised for his distinctive productions. Early in his career he was signed by The Hacker to his label Zone, as well as the French Bromance imprint. More recently, meanwhile, he’s released on Veronica Vasicka's Cititrax and put out music on the RAAR label he set up alongside Louisahhh. 

As you might imagine for someone with such a history, Maelstrom’s sound regularly sees him crossing the borders between techno and electro. As the mix he’s dropped for us reveals, this is something he’s particularly well versed in. Taking in the likes of DMX Krew and British Murder Boys alongside the more contemporary Sleeparchive and Ancient Methods, Maelstrom demonstrates an adept knowledge spanning the entire length of techno and electro history. With his forthcoming Room Two appearance for his label showcase coming in just two weeks, it’s got us more than prepped for an introduction to RAAR’s sound.

Welcome back to the UNDISCLOSED Mix Series!

This week, for episode 25, we're joined by Milenze. A veteran of numerous UD parties, Milenze has been navigating her way through the Sydney music scene and showcasing her vast diversity for over 6 years. 

Choosing to deviate from genre expectations, her focus as a selector has been to curate sets with a mixture of old school house, heavy rolling kick drums and dubby baselines. Milenze is no stranger to throwing down rapid breakbeat alongside dub techno, sneaking in a rave classic from ’94.

For her mix, Milenze has taken inspiration from the introspection and solitude that came along with the recent period of isolation, reaching into the depths of her own mind to bring us something simultaneously dark and uplifting for one of our most interesting and diverse sets yet.

Az LN // SO és a Tilosos Totoya Klub arca az alábbi, a klubban élőben rögzített mixébe igyekezett is beleforgatni ezeket az időtlen érzéseket, még úgy is, hogy ezt néha nem akarta a gonosz limiter. Future Funk Kétezerhúsz: ez szól másfél órában, aztán remélhetőleg rotációban.

Budapest's @bbnncc is not only one of the particularly sharp knives in the drawer when it comes to discharge some fresh club tunes. He's also family: a soft-smiled and hard-working night manager of LÄRM who constantly allowed himself to be inspired by these experiences. The face of LN // SO and Tilos Radio's Totoya Club tried to incorporate these timeless feelings into this mix, recorded live in the club, even though this was sometimes not what the evil limiter wanted. Future Funk 2020: this is what you get, and hopefully you'll got it on repeat.
