this song portrays my philosophy for how i live life with distinct moments and memories that inspired it.

the 1st verse shares how me being a surprise 
pregnancy and second born child helped mold my easy-going personality from an early age. 

the 2nd verse recounts a terrible time when i was 29 in Vietnam and felt depressed and lost.  I went for a long midnight walk on the beach listening to songs i hadn’t in a long time. I danced and jumped and screamed realizing my freedom and was grateful. 

the bridge drops down into one of my most intense recent memories of when i passed out after a gig and couldn’t move or open my eyes for minutes while listening to my friends panic around me.
In those moments i noticed i didn’t feel scared of death or regret how i lived, but felt at peace. 

this all comes together in the chorus where i exclaim “i said all that i wanted the good and the bad, i felt all of my feelings the happy and the sad”
meaning don’t hold yourself back from authenticity. share your passions, speak your mind, and let your unique light shine, even if you make mistakes along the way.
