I am happy to announce the release of my 2nd original piano album! I consider the pieces included in this album to be my best compositions, recorded in 2013. The album has some tracks, which are not included in this set.

Aleksandra Mikulska wurde 2005 als beste polnische Pianistin ausgezeichnet. Sie ist nicht nur in Chopins Heimat Warschau aufgewachsen, sondern entwickelte bereits als Kind eine große Liebe zu dessen Klaviermusik. Bis heute ist sie der Musik Chopins verbunden. Anfang Juli ist ihr jüngstes Album "Reflections" erschienen. Hier kombiniert sie zwei Schlüsselwerke des romantischen Klavierrepertoires: die beiden Sonaten in h-Moll von Frédéric Chopin und Franz Liszt. Mit uns wird sie u.a. über die "Sensitivität, musikalische Ausdrucksfähigkeit und makellose, transparente Spieltechnik" sprechen, die Chopin für das Klavierspiel einforderte.
