My new single from my upcoming album "Piano Stories". Like so many people, I am shaken by the terrible events of the last few weeks. Images, stories, deeply disturbing truths. Here, on "A Precious Place" the deep longing for a protected place. A place to which all people have a right and yet which so many millions sorely miss.

For me, it is a kind of therapy album that pulls me out of this powerlessness and gives me strength. Strength to continue to believe in the good in people and strength to fight for the good and for freedom. Perhaps - and this is my hope - you too will find something in it that will help you at this time.  - Sebastian

This track was created as a homage to Piano Day 2017 and was recorded on the day storm Doris hit the UK. I wanted to write a track that felt affirming in the midst of a turbulent beginning to the year. The track was recorded during the later hours of the day when the storm was receding but a drop or two of rain can still be heard.
