This time round, Sem Marini is handed the A side while Mike Sharon welcomes vocalist Karina Junker for B side duties. Into the fourth release on the label and many have described this label's output as 'perfect', Knite Grooves Vol. 2 is certainly no exception.

Lazy Days is proud to introduce you a new artist to the family, Lay-Far. Discovered recently with his Double Vinyl Album, “So Many Ways”, we reached out to the Russian producer to get some original music for the label. A quick reply led to this 3 track EP landing in our inbox. “New Day, New Light” opens the EP with an uplifting vibe, thanks to its great String sample hook. “Thru” follows with a lively Jazz-Funk influenced number that reminds us of early Svek Records. “If Only The Time” leaves us on a good note by slowing the tempo down but keeping the energy up. We hope you enjoy this first outing from our new friend Alexander Lay-Far and hope to bring you more of his music in a near future.

I decided to release it publicly here so that all her friends and family members will always have a place to come to listen again in any time of need and also in the hope that it will be a worthwhile journey for any other listeners and space cadets that are mourning and missing a special Flower.

Wednesday morning was something else. DJ Tennis curated a full day of back-to-back sets on the Robot Heart bus, calling it Tennis Doubles. The highlight was the sunrise set with Simon, aka Bonobo. It was Simon’s first Burn and the rest is history. 🎾🌞❤️

In DJ Tennis’ words, “Robot Heart is family. When they asked me to curate the Wednesday lineup, I knew I had to bring Simon for his first Burn. That sunrise was pure magic playing side by side with an artist I deeply admire, as the desert came alive, felt like it was always meant to be. After more than a decade here, the Burn still takes my breath away like no other place.”

Recorded on the final night of Skydance Festival, between 23:45 and 02:00 under the stars at the Sky Tribes Stage, perched high on the mountain. The stage had this beautifully intimate and connected vibe — artists and groovers moving as one.

For this set, I went deep on a personal journey through the nooks and crevices of dance music, weaving together sounds from some of my favourite artists and a few of my own unreleased cuts. Expect plenty of bombs, energy, and a few IDs scattered throughout.

Massive love to everyone on the dancefloor and to the Skydance crew for the magic that night — your energy fed every moment of this set. This one was truly special.
