Von Januar 2011 bis März 2020 veranstaltete er im Kulturclub "schon schön" in Mainz die Partyreihe "Tapetenwechsel", bis 2017 mit Timothy Carpenter, (Musikvideo: vimeo.com/46188168) danach bis 2020 gemeinsam mit Danbwoy. Zudem ist Flatline seit Mitte 2011 Mitglied der Live Drum n Bass Band "Urban Breakbeat Orchestra" ( urbanbreakbeatorchestra.de ). Seit 2022 außerdem Resident in der Kreativfabrik Wiesbaden, bei der Drum n Bass Party "Der gebrochene Freitag".

Johannes Spaniol’s musical identity and original productions are deeply rooted in the legacy of the ’90s — shaped by the mystique of Magic Affair, the dark pulse and breakbeat structures of Massive Attack, and the guidance of Jam El Mar, who became a mentor figure. The experimental depth of Aphex Twin continues to influence his work, leaving traces of unpredictability and emotion throughout his sound.

Through Beulerboys Records, Johannes Spaniol extends his vision beyond the booth — building spaces for underground raves, supporting new talent, and fostering a community-driven approach to techno.
