Hello my loyal followers, please accept my apologies that I am currently unable to attend to my hobby due to personal reasons and have temporarily withdrawn from SoundCloud. I recently logged into my account and received so many messages inquiring about my whereabouts. I wasn't expecting that. Thank you so much for your inquiries. Thank you so much for being here and taking the time to listen to my music.

My first steps in electronic music were with the Atari 260 ST (manually upgraded to 1 MB memory), a Yamaha PSR460 keyboard and Cubeat 1.0 (later renamed to Cubase 1.0). So I've always been focused on Cubase, so to speak.

That was a long time ago. In the meantime I set up my little studio and recorded a few songs for myself. However, I didn't dare to publish them because they might not be good enough for the world. 

But at the beginning of 2023 I risked to publish the first songs. I hope you like my music, even if everything is very amateurish.

Update May 26th, 2023

Now 5 months have passed and I would like to describe my impressions so far. 

This is the best community I have ever experienced. You guys are so great, motivating, inspiring, creative and constructive. This week I welcomed my 500th follower and you gave me the opportunity to reply to over 1000 comments. I never would have expected that.

Since you share your music, my art has evolved. I get inspired every day by listening to you. Like automatic writing, my art moves to the ritm of music, it's wonderful and magical. thank you for existing Mr EIN.

Johann Theodor ist ein österreichischer Sänger und Liedermacher. 

Sein musikalisches Werk ist geprägt von verschiedensten Einflüssen. Eingängige Rythmen und Melodien treffen auf sozialkritische Mundart-Texte. 

Seit 2003 gab es mehrere Anläufe für ein Mundart-Solo-Projekt welches durch musikalische Umwege in verschiedensten Band-Projekten immer wieder ruhen blieb. 

Ab 2021 wurden bestehende und neue Titel für ein ganzes Album ausgearbeitet. Aufgrund der erfolglosen Suche nach Mitmusikern nahm Johann Theodor die Instrumente schlussendlich selbst in die Hand und spielte im hauseigenen Studio Spur für Spur selbst ein. Nachproduziert, abgemischt und auf Lautstärke gebracht durch Stefan Hörersdorfer erhielt die Platte den richtigen Feinschliff und Klang.

Im Herbst 2023 wurde das gleichnamige Album, "Johann Theodor", durch recordjet.com digital auf allen Plattformen veröffentlicht. Das ebenso selbst produzierte Musikvideo zum Titel "danke für nix" wurde zeitgleich auf youtube veröffentlicht.
