Biography: 
ENERCUBE — a sonic alchemist from Siberia. Oleg Nabivachev, better known as ENERCUBE, is a sound producer and master of subtle sonic states, originally from Biryuch. His music is not just techno — it’s an inward journey. A language spoken in silence. An energetic architecture, where every chord is not an accident, but a structural element of the inner world.

ENERCUBE is the co-creator of Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer, a project born in deep synergy with his brother, X_FR. Together, they turn sound into landscape and rhythm into space. Their music feels like Siberia itself — raw, spacious, and full of meaning. And yet, beneath its frosty surface, there’s always a quiet warmth.

His tracks reveal mathematical precision, a craftsman’s attention to detail, and a respectful dialogue with silence. ENERCUBE’s production feels like nature’s breath slowed down — translated into a form that resonates with the urban soul. It’s not music for dancefloors alone; it’s music for inner horizons. He doesn’t speak loudly — he resonates deeply. His contribution to the contemporary dub techno scene is not just influential, it’s essential. He’s not chasing noise — he’s crafting feeling. Härsvattnet, nestled in the scenic Svartedalen valley in Sweden, is a serene natural gem surrounded by dense forests and rugged landscapes. Known for its tranquil waters and untouched beauty, it has long been a destination for those seeking solitude in nature. 

Härsvattnet became one of several iconic locations in Svartedalen and, more broadly, Sweden for underground forest parties—where electronic music enthusiasts gathered under the stars. While the parties faded with time, their legacy persists in shared stories, contrasting the area’s peaceful present with its vibrant, rebellious past.

Today, Härsvattnet remains a symbol of both natural serenity and a nostalgic chapter in Sweden’s counterculture history. But I’d wager some hidden parties still take place.

Härsvattnet Dub

For over 20 years Martin Jarl was something of an anomaly in my record collection. At the turn of the century, I was largely buying records on the likes of Deepchord, Salz, Nurture, Bluetrain & Minus THX. I'd also been following the emergence of some labels pushing the more minimal sound for a couple of years, the likes of Out to Lunch, Playhouse & Raum...musik. After the closure of Atlas in Soho I habitually shopped in Smallfish; and I remember adding Martin's Weetabix EP to the listening pile. Upon hearing it I immediately bought two copies, and for the next two decades considered it one of my 'desert island discs'. 

By 2024 both copies were hammered and full of surface noise, and what started out as a tentative ask for some wav files, turned into an opportunity to re-release a track from one of my favourite records. Frankly I could've gone for any of the four tracks. Whether Martin knew to what extent or not; including a remaster of the title track in last year's V/A compilation was a really special moment in lempuyang's journey. Naturally I also asked him if he'd be up for recording a mix for the series. Martin is anything but prolific, and good things truly come to those who wait.

I used to run the underground psytrance label Cannibal Syndrome Records, focused on raw, darker and experimental sounds.
Back in the early 2000s, I was active as a psytrance DJ, with a strong focus on darkpsy and the faster, more intense side of the genre.

After some time away, I've recently found my way back to DJing. These days, my sets explore the realms of dub techno and deep techno—slow-burning, textured, and immersive.
