Mayan Warrior is the result of a collaborative project that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California. 

The project’s original intent was to present to the world the incredible ascent of contemporary Mexican electronic music while paying respect to the deep and ancient sources from which that visual and auditory culture had grown.


Both light and sound are curated by some of the world’s most prominent artists to transport participants to the very origins of the culture – and to a new understanding of contemporary electronic expression.

AND YES: Mayan Warrior is driven from Mexico City to the playa – and back – each year. It's a labor of love and we're glad so many people enjoy it.

Far Too Loud is all about hi-tech, dancefloor-destroying music that makes people throw their hands in the air and go crazy. Think high-energy, aggressive funk with big basslines and crazy edits and you’ll know the sound. 

Formed by Oli Cash and Dom Smart back in 2005, their sound quickly won fans and only two years later picked up 'Best Single' at the Breakspoll Awards.  Later that year the FTL anthem 'Play It Loud', which saw a move from breakbeat to dirty electro-house, received a massive response and remains a crowd-pleaser to this day. 2009 saw the duo split with Dom forming techno moniker Neurodriver and Oli continuing with FTL, producing a string of electro chart-smashers including 'Bring Back Boogie' and 'Megaloud'.

The bass-fueled releases of 2012’s ‘Firestorm’ EP and the follow-up 'Faster Than Light' EP received high praise from all over the bass music scene, bursting with the now familiar big production and energy. Cementing FTL’s place in the bass music scene, these paved the way for more recent releases on heavyweight labels including OWSLA, Never Say Die, Disciple, and Monstercat, and remixes for bass-lords Zomboy, Snails and Pegboard Nerds.

Well experienced in delivering unique sets packed with energy, whether it’s 200 people in a sweaty underground club or 20,000 at an outdoor festival, you can be sure it’s going to go off when FTL is in control!

A pioneering figure in the psychedelic techno scene for over a decade, Luis M shows no signs of slowing down.

Born and raised in the Almada region of Portugal, Luis has toured the globe performing DJ and Live sets to fans from all corners of Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and South America. Claiming the top of his résumé, slots at Boom, Ozora, Modem, Universo Paralelo, Noisily, Hadra and Isis Garden festivals scream unforgettable, complemented by epic memories from Sisyphos Berlin and House of Chapora Goa.

A forefront producer on the label rosters of IbogaTech, Digital Structures, Alula, Stone Seed and Techgnosis, Luis M’s prowess in formulating smooth yet powerful dancefloor mammoths stands as one of his best qualities, right next to his infectious fun-loving attitude. Having developed an instantly recognisable style of bush techno, Luis enthusiastically brings that flare into his vast array of projects, notably his remix collaborations with Perfect Stranger, Electrypnose, Sensient and Maksim Dark.

Born in the UK and now settled in South America, James Monro's immersion within the music industry goes back some 30 years. Having been classically trained at school, James'  musical influences diverged into a long and keen love affair with all things electronic. From his initiation into the otherworldly sounds of Yello, Jean Michelle Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Visage, Human League, Brian Eno, Georgio Moroder and the more left field electronic experimental bands of the early 80's, and combined with a deep love of the psychedelic bands of the 70's, disco and early hip hop, it was inevitable that he fall into a passionate relationship with electronic dance music.  He entered into club land, journeyed through the early daze of Acid House, the uk's "summers of love" in '88 and '89 , onto the beaches of Goa in the early '90's and out into the global circuit of parties and festivals that have since become his playground. All the while collecting the music as he went, finding and creating his sound, and starting up the now legendary Flying Rhino Records with 2 friends in 1995. 

With the dawn of the new millennium, the demise of Flying Rhino Records, and the development of his new label 4DigitalAudio (with his label partner Grant Collins) he took time out to settle into his own rhythm again. He started to produce both alone, as James Monro and as 4D with Grant, and 2012 saw his Midnight Ramblers pseudonym (with George Barker, one his partners from Flying Rhino) gain traction with an appearance on John Digweed's Bedrock release “Structures Two"  with the genre expanding techno gem, "Scarab", which was charted number one by Nick Warren and heavily supported by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo and Robert Babicz. He once again came to the attention of Nick Warren with a contribution to his "Renaissance: Masters Series" in the shape of the beautiful "Ambientworkx7", and recently also featured on Nicks Soundgarden compilation. He recently released on one of the best techno labels in the world Kompakt with a collaboration with John Monkman called Pesto Punk. He has graced other lables such as Proton Music, Bedrock, Renaissance, OneDotSixTwo, j00f, Stereo Seven Plus, iboga, Flow Vinyl, Blue Tunes, NamNam, Candyflip, 24hours Records, CityLights Music, Section Records, Twisted Records, Shifty Disco, Liquid Records and of course his own techno imprint 4DigitalAudio.  Add to that music production for television and theatre plus co-founding the Tropical Beats imprint and DJ agency in Brasil,  James has been a busy and productive player within the industry. He also recently released his first solo album “In The Ether” on Proton Music to massive critical acclaim. Charting number 1 in the psy trance beatport charts for 2 weeks, and holding places in the top 5 of both the techno and progressive house charts. His music has proven to cross genres and defy categorisation. 

With his countless influences, musical prowess and production skills, as a DJ, James weaves a heady journey through all styles of dance music. So much so that it's impossible to truly define his sound. Suffice to say it's deep, its hypnotic, it's emotional and above all fat and funky. James is always pushing the boundaries of what constitutes house or techno, and his passion for his craft has never faltered - his global schedule is testament to that. He's been touring the globe for nearly 30 years now, and still can't get enough! He has played along side many of the leading lights of dance music - Carl Cox, Nick Warren, Sasha, Hernan Cataneo, Sven Vath, John Digweed, GuyJ and Dave Seaman, to name just a few. He has also played in some of the most famous clubs on the planet, including Amnesia in Ibiza, Heaven in London, The Edge in Sao Paulo, and Lux in lisbon plus being a regular at many of the best festivals and open-air parties in the UK, europe and the rest of the world - all the while garnering ideas and inspiration that have made him both a finely tuned producer and phenomenally passionate DJ who has cemented his name as a popular and seasoned favourite within the underground music scene.

Nicola Capobianco, a Swiss born producer and DJ who is better known for his project called LIQUID SOUL.
Falling in love with electronic music from a very young age, he almost immediately took an interest in DJ’ing back in 1993, this is the very year where his journey into the world of music officially begun. It became clear that his new found passion wasn’t just a passing phase and would last as he made the decision to venture deeper into music. This quickly saw him find his way around the studio as this was the next phase of his progression. He started crafting himself a unique sound signature. This hugely assisted his career and has helped sustain his constant heavy flow of bookings all over the world, ranging from clubs to festivals and big raves.
Shortly after 2001 Nicola discovered the psychedelic side of trance music. He felt the urge to again explore new avenues within himself. This reinvention process gave birth to his current and popular project, LIQUID SOUL. He played a vital role and was one of the pioneers in shaping the Psychedelic Progressive Trance landscape to where it has grown today. LIQUID SOUL became a worldwide sensation for his productions and his distinctive sound signature. A sound that can be best described as masterfully capturing emotion through the perfect use of uplifting melodies which manages to intelligently fuse into Psychedelic Trance. Ben Coda needs little introduction, his tech-prog sound crosses boundaries - tough beats and rolling basslines contrast with soaring melodies, fusing his love of the tougher sounds of techno and tech house with classic progressive house. With a busy international schedule, Coda is taking his sound to the masses.

DJ Ipcress has risen from the underground dance scene in the UK and over the last 5 years has taken his dark edged techno sound across Europe and the world. Fusing techno and house, with a deep minimal groove, a partnership with Ben Coda was always going to produce a slick future techno sound.
