This is the final project I did for a course on Programming for Digital Artists and Musicians.  The whole piece was written using a programming language called Chuck, the drums and percussion sounds are samples of real instruments, all other sounds are created using oscillators and virtual synthesizers.  The high pitched melody in the second half is random, within certain parameters, so is different every time it is played (this Soundcloud recording captures one version of it).
