I don't use Soundcloud that much ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ except for sharing playlists & reposting all the Submithub submissions I've approved for blahging each month that were submitted via Soundcloud. So I guess I use it a little bit after all.

Growing up on a farm in Florida, Angelis spent her childhood playing, running around the farm, and making up songs with her twin sister. 

Influenced by artists like Brandi Carlile, Ray Lamontagne, Taylor Swift, Hanson, The Lumineers, Elton John, Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Bareilles, and many more she released her first full-length album, "The Left Atrium" produced by Jeff Zacharski, a great example of who Kris is as a musician—beautiful, eclectic, surprising, and yet somehow always herself. It was awarded Best Female Album of 2013 by the LA Music Critics Awards and the video for the song "Not Your Fault" starring Justin Hartley (This is Us) premiered on RyanSeacrest.com. 

In 2017, she collaborated with Morgan Taylor Reid, and Alexander Cardinale for the "Heartbreak is Contagious" EP which debuted in the Top 10 of the iTunes Singer-songwriter chart and earned Kris Best Female Artist in the 13th annual International Acoustic Music Awards and Finalist in the 2017 International Songwriting Competition. 

Kris has released some exciting collaborations over the last year including "Bright Side" with Adrianne Gonzalez (The Rescues), "Roll The Dice" with Rockwell Sands of the band WØLVES, and has teamed up with producer Billy Lefler (Ingrid Michaelson, Joshua Radin, Cary Brothers) for a new EP due out this summer. The first single, "Photobooth" dropped on May 11th.

The DIY duo have been supported by BBC Introducing, BBC Across the Line and BBC Radio 6. Their debut album, The Colours Blur, was long listed for the Northern Ireland Music Prize. Played a sold out show in 2021 as part of Sound of Belfast.

"Disappeared for a while writing little astral jams on old tube amps from the 1950s. The amps sounded great when the Fender Strat and Fender Jazz bass were plugged in. Tweed amps dialled right up. Lots of fuzz and noise. Sounded great with reverb pedals.

Dreamy melodies started to float over all the fuzz. Vintage banging drums. Songs happened. We took our time. Days spent reading poetry, painting, listening to the swirlings of cosmic jazz. Visited record shops. Drank hot chocolate. Recorded late at night. We moved microphones around. Tried to capture the room. Kimberley painted the album cover. Pressed it on vinyl.
We just try to make noise that we enjoy… We hope you do too.....

I create music using an electric guitar and bass, at present my demos don't have percussion, drums were the first instrument I played and someday I would hope to be in a situation where I could play percussion for my music!
