FM-Synthesis Strings/Cello/Cembalo (4 Operators, All sine waves, Raw Sound)

This song was produced as an homage to early 1980s post disco. Using classic sounds and gear such as the Linn LM-1 drum machine,  Arp Odyssey, and Prophet 5 synthesize. Using funk chords, and an uptempo beat yields a sound reminiscent of the early 1980s post disco sound.

🎛️ A deep and hypnotic rework inspired by a previous track I produced a few years ago as a tribute to my friend and his partner, whose relationship was no longer working. I remade this rework because although my friend Adel is no longer with us, I know he can hear it from above and that his ex-partner, Marion, has made tremendous progress in her life.

A track I recorded in my home studio in 1986 using 16 track midi sequencer played in real-time and recording on Fostex A8LR Reel to Reel 8 track analog deck making the piece a 24 track recording.The DAT master had lots of digital noise but cleaned up and mastered using iZotope RX7 Advance and Neutron 3.
