Celebrating our 30th anniversary is a perfect opportunity to showcase our massive catalogue of proper choons with some new mixes for todays dance floors.
We want to start with some proper heat for the summer by bringing something fresh for one of the biggest tracks from Peppermint Jam, Mousse T´s „Horny“ !
Now in it´s 27th year, we have had some great remixes done over the years from this stone cold classic like the amazing Radio Slave & Thomas Gandey mix or the gopsel-tastic Scott Diaz mix.
Man of the moment, Riva Starr, is the first artist that we have let loose on remixing this gem. He is a solid figure in today´s dance music with his funky yet chunky vibes. Being a regular for Defected and Glitterbox shows, having a great feel for club tunes with a broader appeal like his amazing track with Fatboy Slim „Eat Sleep Rave Repeat“ and having been selected by Defected for the prestigious House Masters series and destroying places world wide with his current smash with Diplo & Kareen Lomax we are just honored that Riva Starr took on the task to refine Horny. 
Staying true to the original Riva Starr gave the track want it needed, more beef and a dope arrangement with just enough vocal to sing along and the track to do its damage.

Another great gem from our mighty catalogue is the jazz- infused deep house joint "De La Bass" which was originally done as an upright bass driven jazz joint by fellow Hannovarians Olaf Casimir & Pascal Capitolin in 1996.
Straight after signing this record to our label Mousse T. got in remix mode and delivered a dope downtempo remix which stays pretty true to the original and an uptempo house remix which blew up in club and jazz circuits!
It even created quite a storm in the UK garage scene back in the day with its solid bass, wicked chord stabs and a haunting spoken word vibe.
For our 30th anniversary here´s your brand new edit from this stone cold classic which has huge support from the likes of Disclosure… De La Bass!

For our 30th anniversary we cooked up some real treats for you!
We are honored to present a proper house music classic from 1991 to y’all which was huge back in the day and we had the pleasure to re-vamp for today´s house heads: Urban Soul ft. Roland Clark- Alright!
This project is a brainchild from one of house music´s most prolific figures, Roland Clark, who actually wrote and produced the original track that we all love. Vocal credits also go to Roland and to the late Ceybill Jeffries.
The remixes on this beauty are rather huge! First up Baltimore´s finest DJ Spen and keyboard wizard Michele Chiavarini ( Let me see you clap your hands ) team up and do a masterclass on remixing, what  a soulful house monster, beautiful new chords and a baseline to die for.
One of Peppermint Jam´s first artists on the roster, Mellow Man, just couldn´t stop and has delivered 3 fantastic remixes with that jackin´ groove which puts us back right to the glorious days of house music in the naughties.
Vinyl is also hot of the press with some exclusives mixes which won´t be available digitally.

Get Ready for some "Funshine"!
We're thrilled to present Simkid & The S.O.S. with their latest soulful house gem, "Funshine" which is a perfect follow up to to the amazing debut on our label "Higher Ground".
Born out of a sweltering London summer, "Funshine" has a story as unique as its gets. Simkid was working on another project in his top-floor studio as the heat and exhaustion led him to create a more laid-back instrumental. A driving house beat from the Jomox Alpha Base drum machine set the foundation, while a soulful piano loop brought the track's signature tone, balancing perfectly between deep and soulful house. When The S.O.S. (aka Shaka) arrived, battling a cold on that hot day, his freestyle vocals gave the track an extra edge, with raw, nasal tones adding a distinctive flavor to the melody. You can feel the energy—pure, soulful, and infectious.
Adding to the original, we've got the one and only T. Markakis on remix duties. A master of deep and soulful house, T. Markakis took the vocals and transformed them into a smooth, groovy masterpiece. With his signature drum breaks and a bassline guaranteed to move you, his remix is a perfect extension of the original track's laid-back yet energetic vibe.

Another stellar release from Peppermint Jam! A two-track banger from Canadian house maestro Soledrifter, who has been a regular on the label, this time featuring the captivating vocals of Tommie Cotton on the title track, "My Favorite Record", and a solo heater called "On the Mic".

Peppermint Jam is proud to present Mellow Man’s latest release, "In A Flow", an EP that takes you on a sonic journey through time. With three distinct tracks, this release captures the essence of three different eras of groove: the 70s, the 90s, and today. 
Mellow Man has been with us since our founding days in 1994 and is a master of THAT oldschool sound.
First up, "In A Flow" throws you straight into the golden age of 90s house music. With its smooth grooves, uplifting melodies, and driving bassline, this track embodies everything we love about classic house. 
Next, "Rumpshaker" brings you right back to the present. This track is all about today’s sound—fat beats, tight production, and a bass to die for, designed to keep the dancefloor moving. 
Finally, "Ghettoblaster" takes you even further back to the early 70s. Featuring the soulful sounds of Artist Locmelis on the tenor sax, this track is a nod to the funk-infused, boombox culture of the era. This track had its first exclusive play on the mighty Glitterbox radio show a couple of weeks back…
Mellow Man produced these tracks using a mix of vintage and modern gear, including the Korg MS 20, Akai samplers, and a Rode NT1000, to name just a few. The result is a rich, textured sound that honors the past while still feeling fresh and relevant today.
