Created during our @momentomcollective Sound Residency last April. Malek and I just started jamming on a bass line of mine on this old acoustic nylon string bass. 90 mins later, it was already nearly complete. Malek, what a treat to work with such a master in the studio brother! 🙌🏾🎶❤️

LECOURS revamped my original ‘Meet My Maker’ track that I originally recorded with J Pool and Aria during our Momentom Residency in Nicaragua in 2020. It’s a song that came to me playing handpan during a bufo ceremony on a volcanic hillside in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. A reminder that we are creator’s of our own reality as much as a thread of this collective consciousness.

Excited to release this fun Nica House vibes remix of my track ‘Caminos Heridos’. The idea first came about teaming up with @davidsatori (of @beatsantique and @dirtwire ) during our @momentomcollective Residency slowing down my fast latin rhythms track to bring it to a 120 bpm with some house beats and some fun Nica food truck surprises! And was stoked to have homie @itsrumpus help with some final edit and mastering ideas.

John Early is an author, yogi, singer-songwriter, founder of ViYarte Retreat Center and co-founder of Momentom Collective. His passion and projects in life are always defining new territory and best approached through his favourite stanza by Hafiz: Laughter, the glorious sound of a soul waking up!

​John's formal education consists of a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management at the University of Saskatchewan and ESC Rouen, France. Since then, it has been John’s 13 years of globe trotting through which he has found his real education and reason to smile in life.

His award-winning book, Tales of the Modern Nomad – Monks, Mushrooms & Other Misadventures delves into his decade of global backpacking over 30 countries through an eclectic layout of stories, photography, poetry and sidebar sketches. It captures all the travel insight you won’t get in a guidebook - including getting lost in cultural taboos and journeys with psychedelic plant medicines.

John’s current mission is creating inspirational human expeirences via communities and alternate pockets of reality at his venue, ViYarte in Playa Marsella, Nicaragua. A beachside training ground for artists and entrepreneurs to uplevel their mind, body and spirit. The collective intention is that together we can reshape the world through the gift of community and art.
