It is SO fresh and groovy featuring the voices and talent of 12 artists!!! Feel the ocean breeze and passion of love for music that is reflected on this song. After having such a short yet so powerful jam session recording this tune, Spirit guided me in the studio to produce a deep, funky, soulful tune that reflects the essence of the moment creating together as a collective.

NAOBA & Momentom - Spirit Guides Me Away

What happens when 30 people from around the world, from 15 different countries, come together to make music?

Well today we are so excited to launch to the world the song our community made during Sound Residency with David Satori of Beats Antique and Dirtwire!

In the first week David walked us through the elements of the creative and collaborative process and in 5 days we were able to bring together all of our talents and produce this original song called “Ahi Vamos” as a nod to the beautiful country of Nicaragua where it was made.

In the spirit of collaboration- we announce this release with a story to share.

Our dear friends and teachers Margaux and Matute were involved in a bad accident while driving to teach at the Sound Residency in November. They struck a young girl of 7, who had run into road from behind a truck and was given a very small chance of survival.

Upon hearing of this shocking and tragic news, the community began to pray together, for everyone involved and for the well being of the young girl-Mayerling. Within a week Mayerling had begun to make exceptional progress, and eventual full recovery. And we got to witness a miracle.

Her family does not currently have a home and our goal is to raise $1500 USD to buy a parcel of land for Mayerling and her family to begin building their home in Nicaragua.

We will be sharing updates as we near our goal, all funds raised above the goal will go towards supplies to the construction of their home. They have asked for all donations via paypal ti be made to the email below.

John Early is an author, yogi, singer-songwriter, founder of ViYarte Retreat Center and co-founder of Momentom Collective. His passion and projects in life are always defining new territory and best approached through his favourite stanza by Hafiz: Laughter, the glorious sound of a soul waking up!

​John's formal education consists of a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management at the University of Saskatchewan and ESC Rouen, France. Since then, it has been John’s 13 years of globe trotting through which he has found his real education and reason to smile in life.

His award-winning book, Tales of the Modern Nomad – Monks, Mushrooms & Other Misadventures delves into his decade of global backpacking over 30 countries through an eclectic layout of stories, photography, poetry and sidebar sketches. It captures all the travel insight you won’t get in a guidebook - including getting lost in cultural taboos and journeys with psychedelic plant medicines.

John’s current mission is creating inspirational human expeirences via communities and alternate pockets of reality at his venue, ViYarte in Playa Marsella, Nicaragua. A beachside training ground for artists and entrepreneurs to uplevel their mind, body and spirit. The collective intention is that together we can reshape the world through the gift of community and art.
